Turtle Creek by ~azriphale Life can turn you this way and that way and back again. Perhaps, if you are caught in life's eddy, you'll do as I and read this poem. It will set you back, calm the water, you'll see the "Skip" and hear the "Sploosh."

Literature Text

Resting on a muddy, crumbly embankment
nimblewills swaying in the breeze
lazily chewing on a piece of crabgrass
with a fishing pole between the knees
the barber-pole bobber creates little circlets
in the crick, giving it a pulse
a little flat stone thrown sideways hits:

  ( Skip )

                  ( Skip )
